“For three sins of Tyre,(A)
    even for four, I will not relent.(B)
Because she sold whole communities of captives to Edom,
    disregarding a treaty of brotherhood,(C)
10 I will send fire on the walls of Tyre
    that will consume her fortresses.(D)

11 This is what the Lord says:

“For three sins of Edom,(E)
    even for four, I will not relent.
Because he pursued his brother with a sword(F)
    and slaughtered the women of the land,
because his anger raged continually
    and his fury flamed unchecked,(G)

    while strangers carried off his wealth
and foreigners entered his gates
    and cast lots(A) for Jerusalem,

nor boast(G) so much

13 You should not march through the gates of my people
    in the day of their disaster,
nor gloat over them in their calamity(I)

nor seize their wealth
    in the day of their disaster.
14 You should not wait at the crossroads
    to cut down their fugitives,(J)
nor hand over their survivors
    in the day of their trouble.

15 “The day of the Lord is near(K)
    for all nations.
As you have done, it will be done to you;
    your deeds(L) will return upon your own head.
16 Just as you drank(M) on my holy hill,(N)
    so all the nations will drink(O) continually;
they will drink and drink
    and be as if they had never been.(P)
